Don't Forget to Include These Important Details in Your Employment Agreement

In a recent blog post, we discussed Immigration New Zealand's more rigorous approach to visa assessments. Paying close attention to detail is crucial when applying for a work visa and/or an Employer Accreditation.

Employment Agreements between New Zealand employers and migrant staff employees must now have the following information:

Employee's Personal Contact Details

  • Email address

  • Contact phone number

  • Home Address 

Employer's Business Address and Contact Details

  • Business Head Office Address

  • Business phone number

  • Business email address

General details

  • How long the job offer is open

  • The duration of the job 

The above information must be included in an Employment Agreement along with other relevant information, such as a job description and clauses to avoid delays and surprises.
