As an Immigration Adviser, my work goes beyond documents, policies and law. At the heart of everything I do is my clients. Individuals, families and business owners. Livelihoods and futures. It's a big responsibility I don't take lightly.

I've been working in the immigration industry for over sixteen years. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that transparency and honesty are the two most important currencies in an industry that hasn't always been known for those virtues.

In my business practice, I make it a point to:

• Say it how it is - no false hope or beating around the bush when it comes to giving visa advice or saying no to work that doesn't align with my values

• Thinking outside the box - immigration policies and law aren't always black and white

• Respect my client's time, resources and/or business, this means sorting out paperwork and submitting applications as quickly as possible

• Anticipating challenges or issues ahead of time and addressing them if or when they pop up

• Maintaining communication with my clients at every stage of their visa process
